Welcome to Jefferson County Internal Medicine (JCIM). Our practice offers medical care to patients aged 18 and over. At JCIM, patients will find accessible and complete medical care for acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and preventive health maintenance. Cancer
We offer preventative health screenings to screen for serious health conditions such as breast, lung, and colon cancer.
Heart
Our practice is able to perform EKGs, offer lipid screening, and provide education on medical management of common cardiac problems.
Diabetes
We are experienced in the treatment of diabetes as well as its complications including diabetic retinopathy, neuropathy, and kidney disease.
Chest
Dr. Patel has 20+ years of experience in the treatment of asthma and COPD. In addition, he can offer therapies for smoking cessation.
Immunization
Our practice offers immunizations as recommended by the United States Preventative Services Task Force.
Brain
We offer dementia screening and therapies as well as management of other psychiatric conditions.
Bones
Our practice offers osteoporosis screening and can offer multiple therapies for the care of your bones.
Skin
For concerns about rashes or other skin abnormalities, our practice can offer biopsies if warranted.
